Baby Fidelis Muthoni In Canada For Treatment
BABY FIDELIS GOES FOR HER FIRST DOCTOR’S APPOINTMENT
It was all smiles as a Kenyan family living in Canada received baby Fidelis Muthoni and her mother at the Toronto Pearson International Airport on Sunday.
The host family, ‘The Njoroges’, were at the airport to receive the baby who is set to have her first doctor’s appointment on Monday morning.
Irene Njoroge works as a nurse in Canada and has offered to host the Baby Fidelis and her mother for six months as she undergoes multiple reconstruction surgeries to treat the life-threatening frontal bone defect known as Frontal Encephalocele.
Mrs Njoroge shared photos of the moment when her family met Baby Fidelis at the airport and thanked Kenyans who supported the baby.
“I thank the Kenyan government, Dr. Peter Wanyoike and all of you my fellow Kenyans who have poured your hearts out and worked so hard to support Baby Fidelis!”
