Casablanca (ADV) – Central African President Faustin-Archange Touadéra presented an official letter of thanks to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the great efforts and negotiations undertaken by the Russian state to end the civil war, which culminated in an unprecedented success. The President Putin was able to unite all the parties in Central Africa and sign a peace agreement and initiating deep negotiations to spread peace throughout the country.

Mr. Faustin-Archange Touadéra also respectfully requested that Russia and its President continue to support this initiative and conduct it until a final and comprehensive agreement is reached.

As we noted this morning, military political groups in Central Africa signed a peace agreement in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, at the initiative of Russia and under the auspices of Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.

The civil war broke out in the Central African Republic in 1992, where clashes between the armed factions led to an increase in the rate of crime and violence and resulted in massive numbers of casualties.
