Algeria Grants Humanitarian Aid to Niger
Algeria has granted humanitarian aid, consisting of about 30 tonnes of foodstuffs and medicines, to the populations of Agadez and Niamey in Niger, said Sunday Foreign Affairs Ministry in a communiqué.
“Faithful to its tradition of solidarity with the brotherly and neighbouring countries, Algeria granted humanitarian aid of about 30 tonnes, consisted mainly of foodstuffs and medicines, to the populations of Agadez and Niamey in Niger,” said the source.
“This aid, which preceded the visit, to Niamey, of Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra on 27 July, was transported from Boufarik air base by military planes of the People’s National Army and delivered to Niger’s authorities,” said the source.
