Jay Z’s Tidal Music Streaming Service Is Doing Just Fine: Drake is A Snitch and a Traitor for Aligning with Apple

About Major Companies Spending Millions to Campaign against Tidal. Why is Tidal labelled a Flop?Is it because Tidal is owned by Black People

Someone once told me that if everyone likes you then you must be doing something wrong. Tidal might be doing something right because as it stands, the music world is mad at them and the most amazing part is that the madness doesn’t seem to stop, it keeps increasing just as much as tidal keeps growing.

In an open market, competition is good for the consumers because it means everyone has at least more than one choice and that’s why we have Tidal, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc. Why is everyone so mad at Tidal and not the other streaming services? Don’t mention the issue of pricing because Tidal costs the same as Apple music and Spotify, Tidal even has student discounts, military discounts and more(not taking the HIFI into consideration)

Most people have never even tried Tidal Hifi option, please try it first then judge them after that. Tidal sounds smooth way more than Apple or Spotify (Yes I said it and I will repeat it again, Tidal sounds way more smooth than Apple and Spotify)

Exclusives

Tidal has given you people Rihanna’s album, Kanye’s album, Beyoncé’s album, J Cole, Alicia Keys’, Asher´s album, and yet you are still mad at them. Remember Jay Z, Nicki Minaj and Jayonce’s(Jay&Bee) albums are coming and they will roll out just the same way Beyoncé’s album rolled out.

Is it because Tidal is owned by Black People

I am the furthest person from a racist therefore I don’t even understand why that would matter but well the situation call for it.

I was reading trough some tweets (yes I went through a couple of tweets after Kanye released his album, I know you all did) and then I came across some people saying I don’t want to give Tidal my money? But you call yourself a Kanye west fan? It doesn’t make sense because if you want to give Kanye your money then subscribe to tidal and not the other streaming services because Kanye owns Tidal same goes for Rihanna fans, Nicki, Beyoncé and J Cole fans. If you really support these musicians then subscribe to Tidal because they get more money through Tidal than they get from other places?

No one is saying any bad thing about Apple since it released Drake’s album but everyone has something to say about Beyoncé releasing through Tidal. What kind of a world are we leaving in people please tell me?

Do you know that Tidal pays Artists more than Ten Times Compared to Spotify per play?

Wait, maybe you did not get it, let me make it easy for you unintelligent people to understand, per stream if Spotify pays $1 then Tidal would pay $10 to your favorite artist. Take into consideration that Spotify has more subscribers than Tidal by a long short (at least for now). However with the Sprint money coming in Tidal has positioned itself better to attack.

Why is Tidal labelled a Flop?

Forbes, one of the most respected platforms in the business world published an article titled; Why Jay Z’s Tidal is already a flop? They (Forbes writers) went on to give Tidal some few months to survive. How could such a respectable platform release such an article (Tidal should sue them for deformation of character, I know a little law , yes I did not write the bar but I go to the bar once in a while…did you get that!!, I think Drake should contact me cause I can write more bars for him #Shoutout2MeekMill)

According to the information made public by insiders at Tidal, the app is doing just fine in the growth department. The service which was acquired apparently with more than 25000 subscribers and not the 550 000 which the former owners falsified added 857k and 755k subs in March 2016 and April 2016 respectively (across the Apple and Google Play stores). Tidal’s subscriber base is somewhere between 3.6-3.9 million at the moment and even more after the Queen Beyoncé released her Lemonade Album which got people to go crazy even Iggy who is stupid enough not to stay away from Twitter(Iggy Azalea’s team should really try to stop her from being involved in twitter beefs) and I will also give a shout out to Morgan Piers the guy from England who seems to like press attention than he deserves, please don’t get me started on Azealia banks, the unfortunate thing is that I really used to root for her.

Anyways back to the important stuff, when you factor into consideration that from close to 4 million Tidal subscribers over 40% of users pay the $19.99 rate, which makes the annual revenue to fall between ~$600-650 million (not bad for a so-called flopping company). Please understand that these numbers are estimates because the actual numbers might be well over that range. However everything taken into consideration it’s safe to say that Tidal has grown quite nicely under new ownership.

By the way I know of the report that said Tidal has been grossly over reporting their numbers based on information leaked in Sweden.Listen people companies report different figures for tax related reasons, it’s not cheating, its being strategic, they spread the numbers over the year so as not to run into liquidity problems.

The public has to take into consideration that Tidal was launched with very little capital compared to the billions currently backing both Spotify and Apple music, so Tidal is expected to have bumps and bruises along the way as it continues to grow (Its only been a little a while, give it a little time).

The truth is that Tidal should now be considered successful, their strategy is working and sometime this year they are expected to join in on the streaming of the series department as well as the movies. Whether you like it or not that man called Jay Z will give opportunities to all great actors who have been sidelined over the years due to Hollywood politics hence be ready to see Latinos, Mexicans, Asians and big a** Black man and women playing majors parts on different block buster movies and series or wait I forgot to write white actors too.

About Drake’s Apple Alliance

I respect that boy from Toronto but from day one he seemed as snitch to me, with all due respect I know the game is all about money but if he was a really envelop pusher he would have joined the Tidal group of musicians because there it means standing up for something. How could you leave your fellow people stranded, the people who helped you be who you are?

I was disappointed but the amazing thing is that the media has not even talked about Drake’s Apple situation because apparently Apple runs the media in this world.

Drake should not get to be treated as a hero for joining Apple, it was the easiest route to take.If he wanted to represent the culture he should have taken the challenging route, but well we know he comes from Canada and Canadians are NICE #SHOUTOUT2MISSDRIZZY.I love Canada by the way!, I just want to put that out there.

About Major Companies Spending Millions to Campaign against Tidal

If you do not see it then you are a fool, excuse my language but it’s the truth, Apple, Spotify, goggle have spent an enormous amount of money to campaign against Tidal, The wanted to kill it as soon as it started however they failed and now they are warming up to it.

One respected personality in the music industry confirmed that he was disappointed about how much the Hollywood and the music industry treated Tidal after it launched considering what Jay Z and all those other musicians have done for them before, He went on to point out the fact that it was the time Jay Z managed to see who was his real friend and who was his foe, nevertheless it’s clear that people in the industry only support you if they are going to benefit from you other than that…nop!.The industry is full of opportunists, they always need a cut and once they see that they are not going to get a cut then they freak out, my advise to everyone reading this…Keep your day one people.

By the way Prince’s Estate managers went against a dead man’s wish. The poor guy wanted his music to be on Tidal for a reason and now that he is dead they cant even honour his little wish.#Restinpeace
