The State Secretary of Interior for Civil Protection and Fire Service, Eugénio Laborinho, is in Dili, East Timor’s Republic, where he participates in the IV Meeting of Ministers of Interior and Home Affairs of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).
The meeting will assess the implementation degree of the conclusions and recommendations of the II Forum of Ministers of Interior and Home Affairs of the CPLP, held in 2013 in Maputo, Republic of Mozambique, Angop learnt today.
The Secretary of the Interior is accompanied by the Commander General of the National Police, Ambrósio de Lemos, Commissioner-General, the commander of the National Civil Protection and Fire Service, commissioner António Vicente Gimbe, among other senior officials of the Interior Ministry.
The Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries groups Angola, Portugal, Brazil, East Timor, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde and Equatorial Guinea.
