Mauritanian Union of Progress Forces Voices Support to Saharawi Struggle

The President of the Union of the Forces of Progress of Mauritanian, Dr. Mohamed Ould Mouloud, on Wednesday renewed his party’s firm support to the struggle of the Saharawi people, adding that this position is a continuation of historic tradition to stand for liberation issues in Africa and the world.
In a meeting with the Saharawi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, the Mauritanian official expressed his party’s willingness to deepen and boost higher the bilateral relations between the Union of the Forces of Progress of Mauritanian and the Polisario Front.
Head of Saharawi diplomacy, for his part, praised the growing role by the African Union (AU) to expedite and ensure respect for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence.
He, in the same regard, hailed the constant and essential support has been demonstrating by Mauritania to the struggle of the Saharawi people since early eighties.
