A naked burglar escaped with expensive whiskey after a bare-bodied heist caught on CCTV cameras at a Port Shepstone tavern.
Lazer911 Security’s Basil Lanka said that two weeks ago in the early hours of the morning, they had received an alarm signal from the tavern in the KZN South coast town’s CBD.
“We noticed it was a multiple zone alarm and our units went there. The guy seemed like he crawled up the gutter pipe and he was inside for under two minutes and he quickly swiped all the expensive Johnny Walker whiskey,” he said.
“We downloaded the footage and saw that the guy was bloody kaalgat.
“Sometimes these guys think if they are naked the alarm beams won’t pick them up. We searched for the guy but couldn’t find him.”
