Botswana Police Arrest 33 Suspects for Multiple Offences
Police in the South Central Division have arrested 33 people in Gaborone, Tlokweng and Mogoditshane for various criminal offences committed last week.
According to a press release from the Police, the suspects were arrested for murder, robbery and different cases of possession of stolen property, theft common and selling medicinal products without authority.
“A total of 15 suspects were arrested for different cases of possession of suspected stolen property, nine for cases of murder, four for distributing or selling medicinal products without authority,” it states.
It says the police seized items that include laptops, television sets and accessories, cellphones, clothing, copper wire and other household items. It further says 24 suspects are Batswana, six Zimbabweans, a Malawian, an Indian and a Korean all aged between 21 and 54 years.
