Pastor James Ng’ang’a was on Sunday welcomed with song and jubilation by his congregation after a week of shuttling between police cells and the court.

The pastor returned to the pulpit after spending two nights at the Gigiri police station and winning a legal battle to secure a cash bail of sh500,000.

And when he stepped to the pulpit, his sermon was on impending retribution and hellfire to journalists, who he claims, are on a mission to taint his name.

“These journalists should ask for forgiveness from me. They have really wronged me by writing false stories about me,” he said, amid claps and loud cheers from the fully packed church.

According to a report on Kameme FM, Pastor Ng’ang’a also admonished the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko about improper conduct of investigations and bowing to pressure to have him prosecuted.

“This is the plan of the devil and I will fight him until the last minute. Pray for me. I will emerge victorious,” the pastor declared amid cheers from the congregation.
