FAZ confirms Simukonda’s Chipolopolo appointment

LUSAKA — FAZ has confirmed appointing veteran Nchanga Rangers trainer Fighton Simukonda as Zambia assistant coach.

Simukonda,57, joins the Honour Janza led Chipolopolo bench ahead of Zambia’s participation at next month’s COSAFA Cup in South Africa.

FAZ spokesman Nkweto Tembwe confirmed one of the poorly kept secrets on Saturday.“Fighton Simukonda has been attached to the national team bench,” he said.
