Koffi Olomide first began his career as a guitarist, but then joined Papa Wemba’s Viva la Musica as a backing vocalist.

Ten years on from his last performance in Kenya, Koffi ignited Nairobi with the biggest show Koroga Festival has seen yet.

The lights went down, the crowd cheered in unison for the superstar, and Koffi took the stage with his signature flare for fashion. It was time to wave those white handkerchiefs in the air.
